The Indonesian National Army Museum is a warehouse or a place to immortalizes the whole creation, sense, intention and the Indonesian National Army volunteers work or service work based on Pancasila, Seven Fold and the Soldier's Oath with the spirit of motivation of struggle of Independence 17 August 1945.

The main activity of the Indonesian National Army Museum is to collect the historical things, to maintain, to serve and to present the exhibition.

The Central Museum of the Indonesian National Army is "Dharma Wiratama" and located at Jalan Jenderal Sudirman No. 75 Yogyakarta. It is the historical building in which several important events had taken place among others:

1. Used to be the Headquarters of the Security Army.
2. A place for big Conference of People Security Army "TKR" on November 12- 1945 where it was the first time the Republic of Indonesia had the highest Armed Forces Leader, with Colonel Sudirman elected as a Great Commander.
3. Used to be the evidence of G.30s/PKI brutality in 1965 when the building was employed as Military Sub-Area Command Headquarter 072/PMK "Markas Korem 072/PMK", where the Military Provincial Commander, Colonel Katamso and the Chief of Staff of Military Sub Area Command were assassinated.

In the museum it also be presented any accommodation of the TNI AD soldier's in accordance with their dedication, both for weapons/ the accommodation of the soldier's as well as the others history evidence. There were 2035 pieces and other valuable thing collection placed in the 22 rooms and as the main tool capital of were exhibited among others: various types of weapon war struggling, signal tools, health tools, standard, the TNI AD Uniform, medals honor and the stories of military history.
