Museum is the form of presentation of military history which is easy to understand. The form of museum can be as a statue, epigraph or building.

There are two monuments in the Indonesian National Army:

1. The Monument of Sasmitalokaloka Great Commander General Sudirman.

The former building of Great Commander General Sudirman residence which is located at Jln. Bintaran Wetan No.3 Yogyakarta is perpetuated as Sasmitaloka Monument. The Monument is aiming at to immortalizes the biography and to remember the struggle of General Sudirman in seizing and defending the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. The rooms in the Sasmitaloka ( The Main Building) were designed when Mr. Dirman and his family lived there.

The building which is located in the north/south and the back of the main building are provided with the historical things among others:
- The collection given by Panti Rapih Hospital Yogyakarta and Diorama of General Sudirman when he was hospitalized there.
- Dokar/Andong that used to carry by General Sudirman when he executed guerilla warfare in the region of the Kidul Mountain.
- Chevrolet Car which was made in the 1948 and used to pick up Mr.Dirman from Guerilla Field along with Wool- Coat/ Long flowing robe often used by Mr.Dirman during Guerilla war.

2. Museum of Sasmitaloka as the Remembrance Hero of Ahmad Yani.

The former building of the Remembrance Hero, Ahmad Yani residence, is perpetuated as Sasmitaloka, with the purpose as the place to remember the Indonesian National Army soldier's who had rendered many services to the countries and nation of Indonesian, and it is also used as the informative instrument for the young generation, especially for the TNI AD soldier's whose always alert and ready to tackle the danger of the Partai Komunis Indonesia.
In the Sasmitaloka rooms various historical things are presented, taken from the Late Remembrance Hero General Ahmad Yani. The rooms were designed with the same decoration in the past when General Ahmad Yani lived there with his family.

In the building, it can be seen the glass perforated by the bullet, as well as the dried blood spot and others evidence as the brutality of G.30 S/PKI.
