BRUNEI WINS INDIVIDUAL RIFLE MATCH-3 IN AARM
Junaidi bin Tahir of the Brunei Darussalam's Army won the
first place in the Individual Rifle match-3 event of the
on-going 14th ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet held in Cilodong,
West Java, on Saturday.
During
the match, Junaidi bin Tahir tightly competed with Theerawut
Ampratcha of Thailand and Suprianto of Indonesia. He collected
93.004 points to defeat his Thai counterpart who collected
92.006. Suprianto collected 92.005.
Unluckily,
Junaid who is victorious in the individual event failed in
the team's event. Eight shooters in the Brunei team only gathered
679.03 points to occupy the fourth place.The first place was
won by the Thai team by collecting a total point of 716.04,
followed by Indonesian team which set a total point of 708.034
and the Philippines in the third place. (696.035).
