INDONESIA TAKES LEAD AT CARBINE MATCH-3 OF 14TH AARM


Indonesian male shooter, Sugiri, played a big role in the Carbine Match-3 of the 14th Asean Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) bringing the Indonesian team to the top position in this event on Friday.

Of the three practices, Sugiri secured 130,006 points followed by Thai Somyos Racha with 124,002 points and Philippine Armando G Mejia (123,009) and Indonesian Sugeng R (122.003) Meanwhile, in the Men's Pistol Match-2, Singapore's team won the event with 1041.048 over the Indonesian team securing 1035.056, followed by the Philippine team with 1009.042.

Singapore's On Shaw Ming Ferre emerged as the best shooter in the individual category with 276.013 points followed by Indonesian Imam S Lubis who only collected 269.015 points and Thai Sumate Pungrai with 265.015 points.
