INDONESIA FEMALE SHOOTER AGAN LEADS IN PISTOL
MATCH-2 AT 14TH AARM


Indonesian female shooter, Higher-rangking Sergeant Ni Nyoman Tri A, here Friday took the lead in the Pistol Match-2 at the 14th Asean Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) being held by the Indonesian National Army since September 1 to 8, 2004, in Cilodong, West Java.

With 191,016 points, Ni Nyoman won over Philip-pine female shooter, Jennifer V De Belen who came in second with 185,009 points, followed by Auraiwan Kaewmeesang from Thailand collecting 184,013 pints.

In the team category, Indonesia was on the top position with 723.043 points, followed by the Philippines securing 704.039 points and Thailand collecting 681.035 points.

The 14 AARM is participated in by Some 500 athletes from the armies of the ten ASEAN member countries — Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Brunei Darussalam and the Philippines.
